DNP – Thermal Consumable for DS620 Media Set DS620 Series (6×8) PD – 10x15cm (800 Prints) or 15x20cm (400 Prints)

Description

This Premium Digital consumable, designed specifically for the DNP DS620 printer, leverages the thermal ribbon rewind function to produce prints in a variety of formats, including 5×15 cm, 10×15 cm, 15×15 cm, 15×20 cm, and panoramic formats such as 15×35 cm and 15×50 cm. You can easily switch between formats during production on the same roll. Each box includes 2 kits, and each kit contains:

• One roll of media
• One thermal ribbon, 152 mm wide

The default surface finish is glossy, but you can customize it using the free Hot Folder Print software for Mac or PC. Available finishes include:

• Fine Matte
• Matte
• Luster
• Selective Gloss combined with Fine Matte, Matte, or Luster.

This software also allows you to configure panoramic formats. With the 2 kits included in the box, you can produce the following quantities of prints:

• 5 x 15 cm (2″ x 6″): 1,600 prints
• 10 x 15 cm (4″ x 6″): 800 prints
• 15 x 15 cm (6″ x 6″): 400 prints (or, with SDK*, 400 prints of 15×15 cm + 400 prints of 5×15 cm)
• 15 x 20 cm (6″ x 8″): 400 prints
• 15 x 35 cm (6″ x 14″): 200 prints
• 15 x 50 cm (6″ x 20″): 100 prints

DNP’s thermal printing technology ensures the reproduction of 16.7 million color shades, delivering incredibly natural results. After successive layers of pigments are applied, the paper surface is coated with an overlay, providing UV protection to ensure long-lasting prints.
